Many multinational companies look for candidates who are fluent in English. It could open up a host of new opportunities both in India and abroad. Even international educational courses are conducted in English in case someone wishes to pursue studies abroad.

What Vedant Foundation is doing differently…
At Vedant Foundation, we observed that most schools and classes concentrated on the technical aspects of English such as grammar and vocabulary. While these aspects are important, they take away the joy of learning a language. Instead, fear of English being too complicated is created in the mind of the learner.
The fact of the matter is that learning big words and complex grammar may not necessarily make you good in spoken English. Big words may not even turn up in routine conversations. Hence, we saw the need to create a course which concentrated on ‘communicating’ in English. The course aims to empower the learner with usable knowledge of English which can help both personally and professionally.
The course is specially designed to benefit individuals living in towns and villages to get better opportunities that require basic English knowledge. A simple technique we use is creating conversations with the learners. Having a 10-minute conversation in English is more impactful than reading 10 books about English. It has proven to boost confidence and create more willingness to learn.
We have conducted the ‘Communication in English’ course successfully in many small towns of Saurashtra. The course has two options – 42 hours training of one hour a day or 72 hours training of 1 hour a day. There are 2 detailed modules chalked out as per the requirement of the interested candidates. We also kept in mind that our learners might not be able to converse daily with others in English. All these factors have been taken care of in the design of the course. We aim to remove the fear of speaking in English from the mind of the learner.
We believe that it’s through communicating that we can grow as people. Learning a new language like English can open new opportunities and thus, improve the living conditions of individuals. This would mean better mental and physical well-being of people as well as more growth and progress of our society.
